The usual garage door sensor problem is the misalignment of the sensors. This happens when the sensors are not placed directly with each other. To fix this, you need first to turn off the power to the sensor then unmount it by loosening the screws.
Then, move and align the sensors. You can use a string to know if the sensors are pointing towards each other. You can also use a level to make sure that they are now aligned. Then, screw the sensors back and test if the garage door is now working.
